In this RVI application, engineers usually use traditional screw mirror to inspect the screw thread for the narrow space and micro DOF requirement. To these kinds of precise screw parts, surface finishing condition and tiny glitch flaws might be a critical quality issue. Using videoscope instead of screw mirror concerning good image quality and probe’s environmental resistance performance.
In this case, Mitcorp’s MX500 system along with new 3.9mm cast probe set provides proved visual examination result to our client.
